Attractions Listing Tool
Ideal for tourism organizations or destination marketing organizations, the iCMS 7.0 Attractions Listing Tool is a searchable database of time based community attractions and events that can be managed by the community itself. Attractions can be categorized for easy filtering and browsed as either a list, or displayed in calendar format. This feature makes it simple for owner-operators to post events directly, promoting their functions and thereby populating the overall community events calendar.
Business Directory Tool
The iCMS 7.0 Business Directory Tool provides the ability to add a searchable database of businesses to a website. Directory listings can be categorized for easy filtering. Also included is a feature that enables owner-operators to apply to be added to the directly and displaying their listing immediately after their submission is approved. Following this process, owner-operators are authorized to log in and manage their records.
Events Management Tool
The iCMS 7.0 Events Management Tool makes it easy to promote events, accept online registrations and payments while keeping track of all registrants. Flexible sign-up forms with multiple options make it simple to add and manage a wide variety of events from simple workshops to conferences. Tracking who is registered and exporting lists for name tagging is intuitive and comprehensive, making reporting a simple task for the event planner.
Itinerary Planner Tool
Ideal for tourism organizations or destination marketing organizations, the iCMS 7.0 Itinerary Planner Tool is used in conjunction with the Directory Listing or the Attractions Listing Tool. The Itinerary Builder Tool allows website visitors to create their own itinerary as they plan a visit to the area . All Business Directory and Attractions records include an “Add to My Itinerary” button that allows visitors to construct a list of places to visit and includes quick display of maps as well as links to Google maps.
Photo Gallery Tool
The iCMS 7.0 Photo Gallery Tool makes it easy to add a set of pictures to any page of a website. Images are displayed as thumbnails on the page but can be viewed in full size either individually or as a slideshow, without requiring the visitor to leave the page.
Search Engine Friendly URLs
iCMS 7.0 creates friendly URLs, automatically based on the page name. The software also provides the option to create your own customized URL. These friendly URLs are more descriptive, shorter and more easily shared and used for linking or marketing. For example, rather than managing a URL such as this: http://www.yfactor.com/Public/Default.aspx?I=290&n=Innovation It will be replaced by simply: http://www.yfactor.com/Innovation
Multi-domain capability
Each portal in the iCMS implementation now has the ability to operate with its own domain name.
Page-level access control based on Membership Groups
Specific content pages within a public site can now be password protected. The purpose of this is to permit access to respective membership groups only (Membership Management Tool is required for this functionality).
Page Versioning and Rollback
iCMS 7.0 supports page versioning, which provides immediate access to previous versions of web pages and easy rollback.
Portal Specific RSS feeds (with Page level control)
Each site managed through iCMS now includes a site specific RSS feed. Content Managers also have the ability to determine which pages will be included in the website RSS feed.
